I was given a copy of this title, free, in exchange for my honest opinion.

So Lena enters a contest to meet her favorite singer, Mallory. Against all odds, she wins and now has a part in a movie. Lena’s summer turns out to be nothing like she expected, but more than she hoped for.

This is a cute story with adorable characters. From her three little sisters, to her two best friends, Lena is always on her toes. But what stands out the most is Lena’s faith, and her desire to understand. Though God and faith are familiar to Lena, she still questions and she still struggles. This makes her a very real and relatable character. The message of the story is broken down into bite size nuggets, which makes it not overwhelming and appropriate for kids. Not only would I recommend this book, but I’m putting it in my daughter’s library.
